Through our grantmaking, we seek to fund nonprofits whose mission or work align with our strategic priorities. We work in collaboration with nonprofits to address disparities and create a more equitable region.

Building organizational strength takes more than funding. We offer a range of support to Greater Hartford nonprofits, from strategic planning to board development, fundraising training, technology, and more.

Community Funds
We started 29 community funds—one for each town in Greater Hartford—to empower communities in our region to take ownership of the needs in their town.
Greater Futures Scholarship Fund
Along with Hartford Promise, we created the Greater Futures Scholarship Fund, a first-of-its-kind program that will award scholarships of up to $100,000 to high-achieving Hartford Public Schools students.
